Acid Rain

1. What gases are the major cause of acid rain
      Nitric and sulfuric acids.
2. Where do most of these gases come from?
Burning fossil fuels in coal-burning power plants, factories and automobiles.
3. Describe a few negative effects of acid rain.
-It creates a toxic water that is not good for aquatic animals such as clams and crayfish.
-It effects the food chain. Some aquatic animals can deal better than others, but once the ones that can't deal with it die, the animal that eats it will die as well because it no longer has food.
-it leave trees and plants less able to with stand colder temperature.
